Located in the Hudson Yards section in New York City’s Midtown West, the Marriott Courtyard location at 461 West 34th Street makes it the perfect hotel for business related travel to The Big Apple. This 29-story hotel designed by DSM Design Group has a total glazed facade area of 52,300 SF. The building was completed in 2017.

Reflection Window + Wall provided the RWW 9500 Series thermally broken window wall system. The ability to cantilever this window system out beyond the face of slab allowed the exterior face of glass to flushly align with the rainscreen porcelain tile system that completes the facade of this building, providing a clean seamless interface.

The glass configuration used achieves an overall system acoustical value of STC-44/OITC-35 (frame + glass), important for the hotel to significantly reduce the city sounds emanating into the rooms.

Project specific custom new profiles were developed for the 1-pc extruded slab cover and bullnose picture-frame detailing around the punched window openings.
