One South Halsted, a 45-story luxury rental tower located at 727 West Madison in Chicago’s West Loop, rises nearly 500 feet and remains the tallest building in the neighborhood as of its 2018 completion. Designed by Fitzgerald Associates, this 492-unit high-rise is known for its prominent location along the Kennedy Expressway and its iconic elliptical shape with a striking checkerboard lighting pattern. Reflection Window + Wall provided full design-assist services for the building’s 210,000-square-foot enclosure, including 180,000 square feet of our RWW 9500 Series thermally broken window wall system. We employed a combination of interior and exterior installation methods to navigate structural constraints, while the parking garage features a ventilated glass façade system that promotes natural airflow and daylight—further enhancing both functionality and architectural appeal.t. |
