Standing 200 feet tall, 5 MLK is a 17-story mixed-use residential and commercial tower located in one of Portland’s most vibrant and rapidly evolving neighborhoods near the historic Burnside Bridgehead.

Completed in 2020 and designed by GREC Architects, the building features 220 residential units across 11 stories, with five floors dedicated to commercial and office use. Residents enjoy access to two amenity levels—Level 6 and the penthouse-level 17—offering premium shared spaces with city views.

Reflection Window + Wall played a key role in shaping the building’s bold aesthetic and energy-efficient performance. The tower incorporates RWW’s 9500 Series thermally broken window wall system, while the podium showcases the robust 12000 Series. A standout feature of the façade is the two-tone, large-format 6mm porcelain tile infill within the unitized window wall system, delivering a modern spandrel look that’s both unique and striking.
