MINIMUM EDUCATION: Masters degree in mechanical, civil, architectural, structural engineering or similar

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Gather, analyze and summarize information and trends to develop project status reports, optimize equipment performance and control costs
- Develop project proposals and estimates based on engineering standards, materials, equipment, expenses and project objectives
- Have knowledge and experience using technical software, such as, Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, Netsuite or AutoCAD, to work with architectural drawings and provide detailed cost estimates
- Develop and perform tests to evaluate product performance and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain communication with general contractors and subcontractors throughout the project process to understand and complete the scope of work
- Manage online portals to receive and review construction plans and specifications
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
- Attend weekly meetings with project management on budget and time forecasts, value engineering, bid management, and specification improvement
- Prepare and submit requests for information (RFI) and change orders to developer(s), general contractor(s)
- Attend corporate tradeshows and networking events to gain a presence in the industry while actively seeking new opportunities

TRAVEL: Approximately 15%; infrequent domestic travel to unanticipated client project sites
SALARY: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00
